of Success
Soumaya Community Center, also known as Masjid Soumaya, was established in June 2023 as a joint effort of Eden Community Centers and local brothers and sisters. The primary aim of the masjid is to serve the unserved and underserved Muslims in the Peachtree Corners/ Norcross/East Roswell communities.
To create a positive, nurturing Islamic environment dedicated to providing Islamic, educational, social, and charitable programs to the whole Muslim family, operating with full transparency, and in accordance with mainstream understanding of Islam.

Pediatrician. Works at “Greater Atlanta Pediatrics” in Stone Mountain. One of the founders of Islamic Center of Savannah, Savannah, GA, was the interim Imam and Khateeb there for 5 years. Khateeb in different Masajids around Atlanta
Ezreta Nikocevic Sisters Affairs Director
Sis. Ezreta is a dedicated fundraiser with over 20 years of experience in fundraising, database management, sales management, and client relationship development. Ezreta is currently working as the Southeast Regional Development Officer for United Hand Relief & Development (UHR). Ezreta has experience as a realtor and property manager as well giving her a unique combination of skills much suited for Eden’s mission of establishing community centers.
Tareef Saeb Religious Affairs/Education Director
Eden's current chairman, is a co-founder of three non-profit organizations and has been involved in community service for over 20 years. Tareef also runs his own IT consulting company: International Technical Services, Inc
Yassir Jorio Social Affairs/Marketing/Fundraising Director
A dynamic professional at the intersection of IT and entrepreneurship. With a strong background in computer science, he combines technical expertise with strategic business acumen. As an entrepreneur, Yassir has successfully founded and led startups, leveraging emerging technologies to create scalable businesses. With a focus on community, Yassir was instrumental in launching several organizations, including CAIR-GA, ADC-GA, and others. An active member of the GA Muslim community for over 20 years.

I am a driven individual on a journey of personal and academic growth. With gratitude to the Almighty, I successfully completed my Hifdh studies at Masjid Hamzah in 2017, solidifying my connection to the beautiful words of the Quran.

Eden Community Centers and Masjid Soumaya maintain separate bank accounts for Sadaqa, and Masjid Operations. We do not by any means combine the funds – assuring our community members their donations will be donated as intended.
